Steel Fishing Lines
bass lure fishing question?
ok, so i bought these frogs at dickssportinggoods for bass. there is a piece of metal or something coming from the ring where you usually tie the line to. look at this picture

im not sure if that is where you tie The Fishing Line to or what? is that supposed to be some kind of steel leader cuz on the case i bought it on it says irresistable to bass, pike, and pickerel. so where do i tie the line to? and do you thing think bass like these frogs?
i want to know this because im going fishing tomorow morning with my friends, thanks
hey man, that is a good lure to use and the wire that you see is a weed gaurd. you just need to tie onto the tip of the hook at the nose of the frog. the hook just rus all the way through the lure and there is a hoop ot the end of the hook just like any other hook out there. when you cast out and the hit something the weed gaurd might pop off just push it back down under the hook. take that lure and fish it on top of lilly pads moss grass what ever. frogs are a great lure to use and if you wanna try another type of frog later on is the hollow frog. man i hope that helps you a little. good luck good fishin be safe and remember to share the experience
