Please tell me if you know of restaurants in eastern suburbs of Melbourne Australia that are diabetic friendly?
The closer to Glen Waverley the better
Want it to be low calorie but preferably still a proper main meal
Any suggestions of restaurants in Melbourne that are diabetic friendly is also of interest to me
Also advice on how to order diabetic friendly meals from restaurants eg steamed fish and veges may have a sauce that is high in sugar etc.
I think you would be hard pressed to find one. The best you could do would be to ask for specific meals without the additives as you mentioned. I you explain you are a diabetic and tell them what you can't have in your food then they could modify a dish for you. I would suggest however that you do the research on what you can and can't eat and then best advise them.
